As I am a single figure h/cap golfer I have always been on the lookout for the next best thing in order to help my game out. Be it for distance accuracy consistency or all of the above.
I’ve used all of the OEM brands, every single one but it wasn’t until I got my spectrum with an Accuflex VS339 XXX and then my 455 with the Accuflex Animal shaft that I truly found what I was looking for.
Awesome length, better accuracy and more consistency in general.
Its not just SMT fantastic products that have guaranteed that I will never budge it’s also the incredible warranty, fantastic customer support and assembly techniques that have made me an SMT player now and forever.

Tony Marks - 2004 Australian Senior Long Drive Championship - 2nd place
(and World Championship competitor).
In April 04, by accident I come across the Long Drivers of Australia website, I was intrigued........I got in touch with Tony Commins and I decided to enter the 1st event for the year held at Bonnie Doon Sydney. I figured if I stuff up I just get back on the plane and go home to Geelong and no one would know.
Well by placing 2nd in the seniors, my rollercoaster season had begun. I ended up playing 8 events, winning 3 and culminating with my 2nd place finish in the Australian Championships, which got me to the RE/MAX World Long Drive championships in Mesquite USA.
Over 20 years ago, I quit playing serious golf and I have played only occasionally since... I had aspirations of becoming a professional golfer and playing in the states, but sometimes you get to a fork in the road and you take the wrong turn and those dreams that I had so long ago become a distant and fading memory.
Then all of a sudden, my dreams had become re ignited, by qualifying for the Worlds and going to America................yesssssssssssss
My season and achievements could not have happened if I did not get into Using SMT drivers and Accuflex shafts.........this equipment I know in my Heart made all the difference in achieving what I did.........................I gained extra distance with the simple facts of using quality products like SMT and Accuflex....also the genuine people that run the companies, take interest in you the individual and in your pursuit of your dreams. A true team effort thank you SMT and Accuflex..........I would not be where I am without your great products and help............thanks for

Keri Gardiner - 2004 Australian Long Drive Champion
I have used many other drivers such as Taylor Made, Nike, KZG, Callaway and others and I have never hit a more pure driver and never this long. The SMT Spectrum is my personal favourite but I also have a Nemesis and I really love the way the ball just "jumps off the face". No Score lines on the face means reduced spin, I found this fantastic because the ball just sails through the air. Do yourself a favour, grow an ego and get yourself an SMT Driver today.
I have my SMT Drivers and have put Accuflex shafts in them all. They are a very strong and forgiving shaft. I use the VS 339 and am absolutely in love with it... I loved my first one so much I got it put in the rest of my drivers. A great shaft that allows playability and strength. |

Just a short note to let you know how impressed I have been with my new SMT driver fitted with an accuflex shaft, the added length from the tee has amazed my playing partners and I would recommend that any senior golfer who wants to gain ( or regain) serious length from their drives consider SMT and accuflex as the equipment that makes a measurable difference.
As you know I only picked up the SMT trial club 10 minutes before the Australian Long drive Championship Final this year ,so I can honestly say that SMT and Accuflex helped me out drive the best in Australia. |

The SMT is without doubt the best driver I have ever used. Since using the SMT with the 47 inch accuflex shaft I have not only gained an extra 15 to 20 meters in distance but I have surpisingly started hitting more fairways as well. I highly recommend the SMT drivers to golfers of all levels who are looking for some extra distance. |

Hi,
I know it's been a while but it's some 7 weeks since I last played. Wasn't sure what to expect so just stood up and hit it, net 64, 7 under my handicap so Ivors' a happy boy.Big dog is just a gem and the confidence spills down thoughout the rest of the bag. Also helps sinking a couple of putts. All in all, a great day out. Hope things are going well for you guys and roll on summer.

Hey, Its Dylan Here, u have recently made me a spectrum driver and Imust thank you very much for it. You are certainly good at what you do. The loft is perfect and the weight spot on so I'm just saying thanks. Just to give you some run up, I played at Gainsborough greens today and the Spectrums distance got me reaching par fives in two, my previous personal best (a week prior to today) was 84 and today I shot an 81 even though I played quite average. I've never been so far down the fairways and my ball now takes aerial photos of where it used to land. |

Took my new driver to my home course Cranbourne yesterday and won the comp..the monthly medal with 40pts off 5....the only clubs that were working were the driver and the putter....what a beauty.......thanks.... |
